Bob King VE6BLD of Lacombe and Gary Wheeler VE6CV of Lethbridge are part of CANWARN, the Canadian Weather Amateur Radio network, using their eyes and ears to report unusual weather in Alberta for Environment Canada.  They were both interviewed on CBC Radio1 on November 1, 2010. [html] Thankyou to those that partisipated in the canwarn activation sunday night for our area.
Ares Edmonton called me to activate canwarn for our area. toward the end of the time Canwarn net control did a test with a cross band repeater between rocky and Edmonton. They would like to know if it is possible to have us activate a link between QE network and the Sara Network for such cases as tonight. [/html]
