I have a relic from my father's (VE3HF) collection of home built power amplifiers, a 6076 tetrode vacuum tube, which could surely impress any enthusiast of the vacuum tube world. It likely does still work, if one really wants to radiate at 3KW up to 222 MHz...
My dad was a great kidder, especially when the neon lights at the local beer store lit up after the transmitter fired up, usually at about 0200 on a weekend... $100 OBO
