from Lacombe became a Silent Key on
February 11th 2007  after a lengthy illness. Gordon was one of the founding members of the Central Alberta Radio League (now CAARC). He was born in Cowley AB. In 1917 his father was a building contractor doing construction in the town of Frank when the slide occurred. Gordon was always very interested in the causes and effects of the Frank Slide and wrote a book in 1987 called [/html]
