Lightning protection as the tranmission lines enter the Ham shack

Small control lines were run in conduit. A cable rack supports the coaxial cables from the tower to the wall. Ve6gc Glenn suggested using the teat cups for weaning calves where I installed right angle copper to ground the shielding as it entered the wall through the copper sheet, which is grounded with 4 inch wide copper strips to a copper bar, which in turn is connected to the tower base and number 6 bare copper stranded looped through bronze ground clams to 19 ground rods 20 feet apart. Stainless hard ware used to bolt things together. Poly Phaser suppressor is in each line where it enters the copper sheeting. Expensive protection, YES, but remember I sleep close by that 72 foot tower!!!
